A few minutes from the city centre of Rouen (Normandy), the Golf de Rouen Mont Saint-Aignan allows you to play your favourite sport in a green and wooded area that needs to master every aspect of the game.
18 holes, par 70, with a length of 5641 m for men and 4828 m for women, it is divided into three very distinct sequences of play:
The first six holes are short, they reward the placement, the accuracy of the approach game and the putting. They include two holes (3 and 6) that retain from the original design of the course, with the so characteristic bumps.
After these starters, you must attack the six following holes in the valley, in the woods, formidable delicate succession of holes where other compartments of the game are put to the test: sloppy shots, out of bounds and complicated greens in an environment stripped of horizontal guides. No. 10 is a difficult punishment hole.
Finally, after the little path, you’ll play the last six holes on the board, in a landscape park, where the length becomes critical. The 13 is a beautiful par 4. The slope of the No. 18 hole, often played against the prevailing winds, has seen many hopes of victory disappear.
