Verbier Golf Club: two 18 hole golf courses in the heart of Switzerland

Golf first apparead in Verbier in 1969 with the opening of the Par 3 Moulins course, right in the heart of the resort. In fact, throughout its twenty years, it has maintained a reputation as a quality course providing the golfer with a very useful and unique opportunity to perfect his mastery of the short game. The courses in Verbier are certainly atypical and very demanding.

First golf course: The Essert course has been built in Verbier at an altitude of 1,600 meters. This mountain course dominates the area with each hole providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains, Combin, Rogneux and Mont-Blanc.
This singular aspect of the course’s design makes easy the walk and a round of golf enjoyable for players of all ages.
Les Esserts is quite short, with very spacious fairways and greens, but the 18 holes feature many natural hazards, including numerous streams.
Along the fairways, an accurate player always has the advantage over the long-hitter who does not control his swing.
