The Roughrider Golf Course is a challenging nine-hole course located near the Base and can be entered directly from US Highway 83. You don’t have to go through the base gate, and the course is now open to the public.
The nine-hole course is essential to the entertainment and recreation program at Minot Air Force Base. The complex is managed and maintained in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and offers nine holes, a driving range, putting green, chipping green, and picnic area. The club house includes a pro shop and snack bar/lounge.
The course was built in the 1970’s and has seen many improvements over the past 30 years.
