Fleetwood Golf Club, the only true links course on the Fylde Coast, was designed by James Steer and opened in 1932. The course runs to 6,557 (par 72) off the White tees. Fleetwood offers a challenge with prevailing winds being a major factor on how the course plays from day to day. It is a very dry, long course with large greens and bunkers galore! Open all year round, Fleetwood offers the best to all visiting players with a friendly and hospitable atmosphere, which is second to none, which brings regular players to the club every year.

The 8th is considered to be the signature hole at Fleetwood Golf Club. At 176 yards from the White tees, this par 3 is the most picturesque of the four par 3’s on the course. Shooting to an elevated green, protected on three sides by some of the highest and steepest bunkers on the course, you’ll do well to finish below the flag to avoid a tricky downhill putt. From both the Tee and the Green there are some beautiful sights. Views of Cumbria and the Lake District peaks can be seen in the distance.

The 5th hole : The Butts is the most difficult hole at Fleetwood Golf Club. This is Par 4 of 455 yards. From the tee aim for the stone to the left of the fairway, beware of the hidden bunker in the centre of the fairway. If you are right off the tee play a provisional. A missed green left is a tough up and down.
