Van Tri Golf Club : an exclusive and private members golf club
Van Tri Golf Club is the first exclusively private golf estate in Vietnam. The Club is conveniently located four kilometers from the Hanoi – Noi Bai Highway and situated in a secure gated community. Playing to over 7,200 yards from the tips to 6,700 yards from the blue member’s tees Van Tri provides golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf. The course layout on relatively flat terrain presents a challenging variety of well-maintained, predominantly pine-lined holes. Small moguls dot the fairways and highlight the sharp-edged greenside bunker complexes. A mix of holes provide for multiple lines of attack, forced carries, good risk reward for long hitters, and at the same time generous fairways and lay-up areas. The golf course shaping and conditioning are without a doubt the best in North Vietnam. Full Paspalum playing surfaces ensure proper fairway lies and top putting conditions.
The double doglegged 603-yard 17th is the signature hole. The tee shot over a lake is straightforward, as is the second shot, which has to avoid a large bunker on either side of the fairway. The third shot is all-important, as it must carry a meandering creek that crosses twice in front of the green
The clubhouse amenities include a main dining room serving both Vietnamese and international cuisine, well-maintained locker and changing rooms, pro shop, and private VIP rooms.
