Souillac Country Club: a challenging and scenically beautiful course

Set in the middle of an oak forest Souillac Country Club is a delightful 18 hole golf course with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Acclaimed golf course architect Jeremy Pern cleverly used the natural contours of the land to create a challenging course with open fairways and deceptive greens, now acknowledged to be one of the best in South West France.

A course for all levels of golfers, both challenging and scenically beautiful, it rewards accuracy, and has some holes which are a real test for any golfer.

Originally, this was a 6 hole golf course, fully overgrown when the current owners bought the site. Golf course architect Jeremy Pern, responsible for some of Europe’s most acclaimed courses (like Golf de la Gruyère in Switzerland or Golf de Pont Royal in Provence), cleverly integrated many of the natural features of the landscape into the new 18 hole golf course, to great effect. The course is at the same time picturesque and technical and provides for a challenging and most enjoyable game of golf.
