Kukuiolono Golf Course

Kukuiolono Golf Course is only a nine holes course, but they come with spectacular ocean and valley views and zero attitude.
Perched on a hillside in Kalaheo, the course offers sweeping views of Kauaiā€™s south and west shore lines

The course is part of woodsy Kukuiolono Park, which includes a Japanese garden and Hawaiian rock artifacts; both the garden and the course were developed by pineapple tycoon Walter McBryde, who bequeathed it to the public in 1930. The course is well maintained, given the price, with relatively few fairway hazards (barring a wild pig now and then).

Facilities include a driving range, practice greens, club rental, and Birdies restaurant, in the handsome yet playful clubhouse, renovated in 2013. The driving range and cart and club rentals are about as cheap as the green fees.
