Kingsway Country Club

Kingsway Country Club is a private, equity club owned by members who are dedicated to making it the finest facility in Southwest Florida. Ron Garl, the original course designer and one of the foremost golf course architects in the industry, has made significant design improvements to what was already one of the finest golf courses in the area.

This championship par-72 layout is a challenging yet forgiving course incorporating rolling terrain, wide fairways, ample bunkers and spacious Tif Eagle greens with over 7000 yards of great golf. Fourteen holes border water and challenges are abundant, but with multiple tees all golfers, regardless of skill level, can enjoy the experience.

Hole 7th at Kingsway Country Club

Hole 7th is the most diffuclt on the course. The Par 5, #1 handicap hole, for good reason. You must keep the tee shot up the right side of this sloping fairway, too far left and it’s wet. The second shot must avoid the second lake on the right and should be played toward the fairway bunker on the left. This will leave approximately a 125-yard approach to one of the more unique greens at Kingsway. Check the pin position and choose the correct club to have a reasonable opportunity to two putt or make a run at birdie.

After golf, the Grille Room or covered Verandah overlooking the course might be tempting for lunch, cocktails or just to settle wagers.
