Keerbergen Golf Club, situated Brussels, Leuven and Mechelen, offers a beautiful, 18-hole course on the shores of Lake Keerbergen.
The well-balanced course of Keerbergen Golf Club with lots of small fairways and plenty of water hazards requires a fair amount of technique and attention. In 2010 six holes were renovated, creating more challenging greens and strategically placed bunkers, hills and rough. The highlight is the final hole in a graceful arc around the lake. On the 18th, you have an amazing view of the clubhouse. The hole is a very challenging par 4. Dogleg to the left, a ‘thriller’ as a finishing hole! On your left is the ‘lake of Keerbergen’ from tee to green. Who dares to play the ball over a part of the lake. Second battle to the green that slightly inclines to the left.
The hole 4 is the longest hole of the track with 499 meters from the yellow. At 240m from the tee there is a frontal water obstacle of about 15m wide. Keeping your exit slightly to the right is recommended. Second battle slightly left play. To the right there is a bunker and lateral water. Third battle to the green who has a plateau at the back, where the flag is on a regular basis.
You can use the covered and lighted driving range, and there is also a pitching and a putting green with practice bunker to perfect your short game.
In the completely renovated clubhouse there’s a friendly, family atmosphere. You’ll enjoy a summer aperitif in the bar or on the spacious terrace with stunning views of holes 17 and 18.
