Golf Club de Chamonix nestles between the Mont Blanc range and the Aiguilles Rouges on the valley floor. One would imagine that a mountain course would be on steep slopes but that is absolutely not the case.

In this magnificent setting the remarkable work of American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr takes on another dimension. The course is technical and subtle, with water hazards and numerous bunkers.

Golf club de Chamonix has one main practice area.
To get to it go through the car park then follow the river along the path which passes under the 10th hole.
There are 20 driving range bays, of which 6 are under cover, a chipping green with practice bunker and a big putting green

The Club house

Situated at the heart of the course in a unique chalet since 1934 the Club House terrace offers a privileged view of the 18th hole, the most difficult par 3, 175m long and with a small green well defended by numerous bunkers.

Every day the Club House welcomes you non- stop in a warm and friendly atmosphere, before or after your round: Breakfast, lunch, snacks, sandwiches and crepes. You will find all you need to revive you or to just to have a drink with your playing partners

Open to non players too. Access is just opposite the reception between the 10th and 15th holes.
