Located near the medieval city since 1988, the Golf Club de Carcassonne course offers golf enthusiasts a panoramic view of the Pyrenees Mountains and the Montagne Noire Mounts. The 18-hole course perfectly married with the natural configuration of the site. It spreads over nearly 5800 meters of large and gently rolling fairways, making it accessible to all, twelve months a year.
Some water hazards during the round, especially on hole 5 where the drive should not be on the left, or the hole n ° 9 (small PAR3) where the choice of the club will be essential. The greens are very well maintained and the presence of the wind rushing regularly on the moor, drying them, makes them particularly rolling. It’s a real treat for putting enthusiasts who are in control of this game element
However, the quietness of the place, barely disturbed by the crossing of some curious squirrels and rabbits, should not make you forget that this Par-71 is defended by rather fast greens and some spectacular holes, like the famous #1 which is standing before the player as the Annapurna, or the impressive #9 Par 3 challenging golfers with its slope of 110 meters.
